Confederacy, Union Point, Ga./Dec. 10 (1861). Ochre cds with matching straight line "Paid" and numeral "10" in circle handstamps on cover to "A.H. Stephens" in Richmond, docketing on reverse indicates a private in Capt. Dawson's Company, 8th Ga. Regt. was wounded and is unfit and incapable to perform soldier duty. Dr. Randle & other physicians therefore recommend his being discharged, Very Fine.
Estimate    $150 - 200.

The Ochre color was dropped from listing in Dietz Catalog because the color could not be verified on this cover.
