St. Louis, Mo./Sep. 13, 1904/P.O. Dep't Ex. Machine cancel (Bomar STL04-07) on reverse of Cupples Expo. postcard showing the "Minnesota State Building" & franked on the face with 1¢ Louisiana Purchase (small defect), tied by St. Louis Exposition Sta. machine cancel (Bomar STL04-05B), also affixed is small perforated photograph portrait which could be purchased by attendees at the Fair, Very Fine, a very unusual item as this Post Office marking was normally found on their souvenir handout cards given away at the Post Office Exhibit during the Fair.

St. Louis, Mo./Sep. 13, 1904/P.O. Dep't Ex. Machine cancel (Bomar STL04-07) on reverse of Expo. postcard with imprint View from the tower of the German House (printed in German), franked on the face with 1¢ Louisiana Purchase tied by St. Louis Exposition Sta. machine cancel (Bomar STL04-05B), card is unaddressed, however it may have been a folder type card as the left portion appears to be torn away, this may hve been the addressed panel, Very Fine, a very unusual item as this Post Office marking was normally found on their souvenir handout cards given away at the Post Office Exhibit during the Fair.

Machine cancel (Bomar STL04-04A) tying 1902 2¢ Regular Issue on cover to New York with printed corner card of Louisiana Purchase "Department of Domestic Exploitation", "Missouri Pacific Railway" Expo. vignette also affixed, cover with minor edge toning, Very Fine.

Green World's Fair Illustrated design at left showing Female & Globe design below company advertising corner card on 1901 cover, franked with 1¢ Bureau Issue affixed over attractive green advertising collar "Fac-Simile Letter Co./Patent 2 Ounces/One Cent", adhesive tied by "St. Louis" machine cancel, Extremely Fine.

Four lovely all-over multi-color illustrated Expo. covers with various frankings, envelopes printed "Hesse Co." & showing the "Administration Building", "Manufacturers Building", "Mines and Metallurgy Building", "Social Economy Building", Very Fine, a lovely group.

Meyer Brothers Drug Co. Set of five different illustrated advertising corner cards in different colors for the "1903 St. Louis World's Fair", all used in 1901 & franked with 2¢ Bureau Issue or 2¢ Pan-Am & tied by St. Louis machine cancel, three adhesives with minor flaw, Extremely Fine.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

Interestingly, the covers show advertising for the 1903 World's Fair. The Exposition was indeed scheduled for 1903, but was delayed one year due to construction delays.

1904 Cupples Louisiana Purchase Exposition Jumbo Postcards. Group of six different mint jumbo size multicolor Expo. cards manufactured by "Samuel Cupples" (Megson GI 116 series, missing "Bird's Eye View" & "Palace of Electricity", however included is unlisted "Palace of Agriculture", "Palace of Manufacturers"), Extremely Fine, a rare group in this gem condition.
Estimate    $500 - 750.
