Sou. Exposition Station/Oct. 4, 1886/Louisville, Ky. Large double circle postmark (Bomar L84-01) on cover franked with 2¢ Bank Note cancelled by matching target cancel, cover with soiling & staining, Very Fine strike, a very rare Exposition in 1886, one of two recorded examples.

South'n Expos'n Sta. /Sep. 13, 1883/Louisville, Ky. Bold blue postmark (Bomar L83-01) on 3¢ green Postal entire with matching target cancel to Rhode Island, slightly reduced at right, Extremely Fine, a gorgeous strike of this rare marking, ex-Barkhausen.

Building & Grounds with Billboard type advertising below, reverse with Grocers' Letterhead & letter, included is original 1884 cover franked with 2¢ Bank Note tied by "Louisville" duplex cancel, cover with tear, Very Fine and unusual.

Cds backstamp (Bomar NO85-02) on 2¢ Postal entire from San Francisco addressed to the "New York State Department Exposition, New Orleans", entire then forwarded back to San Francisco with scarce "New Orleans, La. Ex. Sta." duplex cancel (Bomar NO85-01) & straight line "Forwarded", which may be an unrecorded Expo. handstamp, tiny reduction at right, Very Fine, a very rare marking of which only 4 examples are recorded.

Large violet boxed handstamp (Bomar NO85-03) tying 2¢ Bank Note pair + 10¢ Bank Note on cover to Missouri, adhesives additionally tied by rare "New Orleans Ex. Sta." oval cancel (Bomar NO85-04), cover with illustrated corner card "The World's Exposition/Commissioner for Vermont", one 2¢ & 10¢ with trivial corner crease, Extremely Fine, a unique marking and one of the finest Exposition covers in existence, pictured in Bomar.
