Clear blue triple oval handstamp on reverse of 1857 folded letter from San Francisco to Marysville, Cal., Very Fine, very rare handstamp unlisted in all the references, usage just 2 months after the notice of formation of the company, the only copy we have seen.

Bk. 'Frances Palmer.'. Bold strike of straight line handstamp on folded letter to The Consul of France at Honolulu, Sandwich Islands that emanated from Havre, France was turned over to British forwarder with green boxed "Morgan Hathaway & Co." handstamp, who arranged for its transmission privately to G.B. Post with their "Forwarded by, G.B. Post & Co., San Francisco" octagon handstamp, where it was put on the Frances Palmer to Honolulu, Very Fine, immensely rare, this cover has a combination of dual forwarders and a contract ship cancel all on one cover.

Neat bold blue oval handstamp on blue stampless folded letter dated August 4, 1851, emanating from Valparaiso, Chile, carried per the Ship Schotel and forwarded by Gildemeester to addressee, Extremely Fine, a very early handstamp forwarder, listed but without details in Rowe.
