Circular town postmark (MH 238.02, 1RRR) tying 1875, 2¢ brown, horiz. strip of three on cover to Vincennes, Ind., additionally canceled by light target handstamps, purple "Honolulu, H.I., Paid All, Oct 25, 1879" cds (MH 237.12) and red San Francisco transit postmark on reverse; right stamp missing lower right corner and cover with slightly rough opening, F.-V.F., a very rare usage of this Haiku Post Office postmark, with only seven strikes recorded on and off cover.
