1861, 24¢ steel blue + 3¢ rose. (steel blue with vibrant color), beautifully tied by large Boston Paid cancels on 1862 blue tissue paper cover to Rome with red "Boston/Paid 24" cds at left, minor cover edge wear & 24¢ with hint of perf toning, Fine and attractive; with 1962 P.F. certificate.

1861-63, 5¢ brown + 10¢ yellow green. Two singles of each tied by quarter cork cancels on 1864, 3¢ pink entire to Vevey, Switzerland, per 1866 Prussian closed mail with "Washington D.C., Feb 16" duplex postmark and blue Aachen transit box date stamp, Very Fine, a very unusual make up of the 33¢ rate.

Slightly overlapped on 1864, 3¢ pink entire to St. Helena, Ecuador, tied by neat quarter cork handstamps and matching "Milwaukee, Wis, Jul 17" cds alongside, red "24" credit handstamp and light Panama transit cds, manuscript "2rs" for internal rate; tiny cover tear at top, Very Fine, a very rare usage to Ecuador.
