Lawrence, Lat 33.40 Long 80.00 April 11, 1864" regarding his 51 day passage to Valparaiso; cover slightly reduced at left, Very Fine.

Steam Panama, full strike of type 1 oval handstamp on incoming 1865, 30¢ green legal size entire to San Francisco, canceled by "San Francisco, Cal., Feb 16" cds (Williams SAF-640) and quartered cork duplex; cover reduced at right just into indicia and lower right corner tear, a Very Fine strike, a very rare triple rate usage and the only reported example on a high denomination postal stationery entire.
