Well formed mostly mint collection in Scott album; strong completion in early issues including Scott #1-5, the scarce #10 unused, 1891 issue near complete with inverted overprint varieties, later surcharges missing only #57 with the better due issues present, complete mint from 1892 N&C issues through the 1930's with a good representation of early French Admin. and later completion, strong completion in back-of-the-book; a lovely collection with condition well above the norm.Estimate $750 - 1,000.

Tahiti and French Polynesia Collection, 1882-1960's. Extensive collection formed over 4 decades in large album, with many scarce to rare Tahiti issues as well as many better postal history items; Tahiti issues with highlights including a very fine mint #1 signed (cat $250), 1884 issues include 5c on 10c mint x2 and used with inverted surcharge, 10c on 20c mint x2, the scarce 25c on 1fr tied on piece (Sc. #4, cat $425), the rare 1893 2c tied on piece (Sc. 6, cat $1,800) with multiple higher values including pairs, blocks, on pice, etc. to the 1fr, "1893" overprint issue from 10c mint and used (Sc. 21, cat $240 each) both signed, a rare 15c block of 16 and multiple mint and used, through to the 1fr including marginal single on cover, later issues including gutter pair, semi-postals, dues with the scarce #J11 used (cat $360) and #J20 used (cat $400), French Polynesia with multiple first issues and the array of 1910-30 Portrait issues with various cancels and on cover items from various islands including the Marquesas, Gambier and Tuamotu; a wonderful and valuable collection well worth careful inspection.Estimate $7,500 - 10,000.
