Lot of 18 incoming covers with classic frankings, postmarks & destinations, several are to New York, included is one cover from the French Colonies of Senegal franked with the Colonies 40c Eagle block of 4 tied by scarce blue boxed grid of dots with matching blue Goree double circle postmark to Maine (sadly an additional 40c has been replaced), mixed condition, worth inspection.Estimate $750 - 1,000.

Manuscript endorsement on cover (opened for display) to Philadelphia franked with 1883, 2¢ red brown tied by New York "2" killer postmark, "T" in circle handstamp with "U.S. Charge To Collect" & ".8 Cents" handstamps, reverse with 1884, 2¢ Postage Due strip of four tied by Philadelphia receiving postmark, mailed sometime between 1884-87, rate from Colombia was 5 centavos per 15 grams letter rate plus 5 centavos surcharge which when the U.S. 2¢ stamp is subtracted leaves 8¢, Very Fine, a very interesting incoming naval cover.Scott No. 210+J16 Estimate $150 - 200.
