(Pacific Maritime Mail) Via Panama. with Illustrated Steamship on cover to Boston franked with 1861 3¢ rose tied by target cancel with San Francisco double circle postmark alongside, stamp and cover have pieces replaced at upper right and silked to support minor faults, Very Fine appearance.

(Pacific Maritime Mail) Forwarded by/G.B. Post & Co./San Francisco. Nice strike in octagonal box on stampless cover (probably from Hawaii) to Glens Falls, NY, put into the Post Office with "San Francisco, Cal./10" (Williams SAF-330) integral rate cds, ca 1855, slightly refolded & lightly cleaned, lovely Very Fine appearance.

(Pacific Maritime Mail) Forwarded by/G.B. Post & Co./San Francisco. Two bold strikes on top half of the San Francisco Herald Sep 15, 1855 newspaper (probably for forwarding to Hawaii), one crossed by light fold, newspaper with interesting contents regarding Steamers, Expresses, Shipping, etc., Very Fine and rare.

(Pacific Maritime Mail) Forwarded by/G.B. Post & Co./San Francisco. Nice strike in octagonal box on 1856 stampless cover from Hawaii (datelined "Honolulu" and ship "Francis Palmer") to San Francisco, received by Post as a ship letter with bold San Francisco, Cal. cds & matching "Ship 6" clamshell handstamp was applied, age stained, lovely Very Fine appearance, a wonderful Post cover originating from Hawaii with the steamship mark.

(Pacific Maritime Mail) Stmr. Sierra Nevada, Via Nicaragua, Advance of the Mails. Blue oval handstamp on 1853, 3¢ Nesbitt entire to Baltimore, Md., franked with 1851, 3¢ dull red tied by "New York, Ship, Jan 2" cds, manuscript "Jan 7/ 55" pencil docketing; cover restored at top corners and sideflaps, Fine appearance, still a very rare Nicaragua route marking.
