Horizontal strip of six, cons 2-70, large margins to just in at top right, tied by "Franco, Tlacotalpan, Ago, 7, 1871" cds's (Schatzkes 1805) on certified cover front receipt to Veracruz, certified boxed date stamp (unrecorded) and six strikes of the Tlacotalpan Seeing Eye handstamp as well as three strikes of the Orizava Pointing Hand handstamp (VER 137/11 & VER 85/9); cover front with edge wear and tears, vertical file folds with one affecting third stamp, F.-V.F., a remarkable and extremely rare oversized certified usage from Tlacotalpan.

Mexico, 1868, 100c black on brown, Tabasco, quarter used as 25c, imperf. Cons 38-69, lower right quarter of stamp on 1869 folded letter to San Juan Bautista, tied by "Huyman/Guillo" straight line handstamp (Schatzkes 1567AA); slight cover aging and a couple small internal holes, still Very Fine, a great fractional postage rarity, one of only two usages known of the 1868 100c quadrisect used on cover; with 1976 MEPSI certificate.
