Hawaii, Bond correspondence of Hawaii, 1870-80's. 70 covers, each with original letter; great variety of frankings (including 20x 1875, 2¢ brown), cancels (including 1882 Kawaihae town, Hilo Fancy "H" in circle, several different Castle and Cook handstamps, etc.), advertising, etc.; as good as the covers are, the correspondence is undoubtedly even better; 70 letters involving one of the most famous families in Hawaii; a new find and as can be seen in the absence of original correspondence in both the Honolulu Advertiser and the recent Twigg-Smith collections, F.-V.F. overall.

Consisting of 58 covers, most with original letters (and pictures); nice variety of frankings including 6¢ Banknotes (including a pair with beautiful New Orleans fancy cancel), 10¢ Trans-Miss, etc.; certainly a wealth of historical value, F.-V.F. overall.
