Set of 10 denominations, 1885 1c green, 2c carmine & 5c blue (colors prescribed by the U.P.U.) and complete 1887 issues in scarlet; each with 2.5mm punch hole and mounted by hinge on ivory cardboard; couple with light staining from hinge, still Very Fine, a rare proof set; 4c signed Hamilton.

Mexico, 1886 Numeral issues, Coleccion overprint. 5 stamps, 2c-4c, 6c & 10c denominations, couple with paper adhesion on gum, 6c no gum, Fine and scarce, the purpose for this overprint has not been ascertained however they where probably prepared for archival purposes.

Mexico, 1886, 2c lilac, finished trial color proof + 3c lilac. Grid canceled on 1887 post card to Orizava, matching Franco, En, La Esperanza oval handstamp alongside; few small insect holes with one affecting 2c, F.-V.F., a rare and early postal usage of a trial color proof, with one other such usage known; with 1976 MEPSI certificate.
