Cds on oversized cover to Stockholm, Sweden, matching "Paid" handstamp and manuscript "168" in pencil at top for four times the 42¢ Prussian closed mail rate, conveyed via Panama and arrived at New York April 7th by steamship Illinois, reverse with "New York, Am. Packet, Apr 9" transit cds, various Prussian transit and rate markings; cover soiling and repair at lower left, otherwise F.-V.F., a rare multiple rate cover to Sweden.
