California advertising or corner card covers. One small box full of mainly California covers from the late 19th or early 20th century with printed corner card of illustrated advertising, a nice array of town markings, mixed condition with some stamp missing or defective, worth inspection as a few nice covers are present (no photo).

California documents. Misc. lot of documents, letters, stock certificates, checks, invoices, deeds, Bills of Lading, telegraphs, etc., included one letter by Leland Stanford, several of the bills of lading with illustrated Steamer Ship or Schooner, printed letterheads including Coast Line San Juan & Los Angeles U.S.M. Stage Co., much of the material relates to the Coast Line Stage Company, to & from company officials, mixed condition, an interesting lot for the specialist (no photo).

A fine group of 41 covers & folded letters from various towns with a wide variety of markings, towns include Strawberry Valley, Jackson, Fort Jones, Mormon Island, Marysville, Oroville, Michigan Bluff, Gold Run, etc., better items include a Stockton 80¢ handstamped rate cover & a San Jose cds with manuscript 12½¢ manuscript rate, mixed condition, worth careful inspection.
