Placerville, Cal. (El Dorado). Postmark (Williams ELD-2990) tying 1857 10¢ green type V (couple blunt perfs & soiling at top) on 1857 cover to Illinois with rare straight line "Overland" handstamp, cover with math annotations, Very Fine and rare.

Riverton, Cal. (El Dorado). Manuscript postmark (Williams ELD-3370) on 1894 cover to Oakland, Cal. franked with 1890 2¢ & tied by manuscript cancel, part of flap missing & slightly reduced at left, Very Fine and rare, the only recorded example of this postmark.

Rubicon, Cal., Jul 11, 1902 (El Dorado). Town postmark with matching target cancelling on 2¢ entire to Jamestown, with original enclosure on Rubicon Park illustrated letterhead, cover edge staining at lower left and rough opening at right, Fine, a very rare postmark, unlisted in Williams.
Estimate    $100 - 150.

St. Lawrence, Cal./Sep. 20, 1880 (El Dorado). Ultramarine octagonal postmark (Williams ELD-3410) perfectly struck on cover to Placerville franked with 3¢ green Bank Note tied by matching target cancel, Extremely Fine, the only recorded example.

Salmon Falls, Cal. (El Dorado). Collins double circle postmark (Williams ELD-3420) on buff cover to Massachusetts with matching "Paid" & boxed "10" rate handstamp, F.-V.F., a very rare postmark of which this is the earliest recorded example.
