Portuguese Colonies collection, 1870-1986. Comprehensive mint and used collection housed in two large Scott albums, remarkable completion throughout with many better singles and sets, Angola with complete issues from 1870 1st issues to 1901, later issues missing only a half a dozen issue for completion, Angra issues complete, Azores with highlights including used #4, 6, mint 7-10, 1875-80 set complete, near complete St Anthony set, virtually complete from 1906 on including back-of-the-book, Cape Verde issue complete from 1st issue to 1914 and missing only a few stamps thereafter, mostly complete back-of-the-book, Funchal & Horta 1892-93 & 1897-1905 sets complete, strong Inhambane and complete Kionga mint, good early Lourenço Marques issues and strong completion in later, good back-of-the-book, near completion in Macao including 1884-85 first issues complete, 1885 surcharges missing only Scott #21, complete sets from 1887 to 1894, other highlights including 1898 Da Gama set mint, good 1902 surcharges, better 1900-1910 King issues including bisects, 1911 bisects, good 1913 surcharges, 1913 Da Gama set mint, etc., good back-of-the-book, Mozambique strong completion in most sets and strong back-of-the-book, Mozambique Company missing a few back-of-the-book issues for total completion, Nyassa mostly complete, Ponta Delgada 1892-1905 sets complete, strong completion in Congo, Guinea from 1881-85 set, India with many early issues, good Quelimane and St. Thomas and Prince Islands, complete mint Tete, Timor missing only a handful of later issues for total completion, Zambezia missing only #96 for completion; a well formed collection with lots of value throughout and condition well above the norm however some mixed to be expected in earlier material, a must see to appreciate.

[Portuguese Colonies] Azores, 1912-1931 Ceres issues. Five key values mint with four of each issue; 7½c yellow brown (#176), 20c violet brown on green (#190), 30c brown on pink (#196), 50c orange on salmon (#20b) and 1e deep green on blue (#220).

Godden album which complete with all better singles & sets, plus many unlisted overprint or inverted center varieties, some duplication as both mint & used sets are present, better mint items include #26-38 inverted centers, 44-46, 47 (2), 63-80 (2 sets), 83a, better used #47-48, virtually all better items signed, a valuable collection of this scarce and sought after area, with numerous unlisted items.

Romania block, 1866-1867. Fabulous block of 18 with generous margins of the Prince Carol 2p black on yellow on the rare thick paper (#29a). Fresh and never hinged, a beautiful exhibition item in striking color block of yellow.

Russian Offices in the Turkish Empire collection. Specialized collection mounted on exhibition pages, well over 1000 stamps covering mainly district overprint, full sheets with varieties, strength in overprint errors, highlights include Beirut 10pa on 2k inverted overprint (Sc#162a) in corner margin mint block, 5pa on 1k block of four used on picture-side of Navigation and Trade Co. postcard, Constantinople with unlisted mis-spellings 10pi on 1r mint with "Constanttnople", and "Constautinople" on right stamp of 35pi on 3.50r mint pair, Dardanelles 20pa on 4k inverted overprint sheet of twenty-five, margin block of nine of the same issue with overprint inverted on lower row of three and the other six with name omitted, Jaffa two types of 'J' inc. 20pa on 4k pair with both types, 20pa on 1k used on 1910 postcard to France, blocks and gutter pairs with overprint varieties in combination with normal of Dardanelles, Jerusalem, Mont Athos, Trebizonde, etc., in-depth collection with much unlisted material.
