[First days] Previous E.K.U. postal entires and Wash-Frank issues on cover group, 1861-1920. 13 postal stationery entires and 4 Washington Franklin issues; all had been previous earliest known usages, entires with #U35, U349 (four different dies), U223, U231, U277, W357, U400c, U402, U412 and UO54, Washington-Franklins include #470, 496 & 534A, all with fairly recent APS certificates.

First day group: 4th Bureau flat plate issues, 1922-1926. 8 better covers and #595 EDU off cover pair (with P.H. cert); with highlights including the largest known multiple of 604 on cover (Harry Hammelman serviced), rare unofficial city usage of #598, the listed EDU of #575 in the Scott catalog, official city for #551 with #576 combination, #623 Nickle cachet covers, etc., a group of very scarce to rare items, well worth inspection.
