Cover inbound to San Francisco, California, via Spain and England, "Buenos-Ayres AP 27 61" origin backstamp of the British Post Office and red manuscript "2/-" rate, Madrid "10 Jun 61" transit and "Espana Irun" backstamps, blue "Franco" handstamp, red "JB London JU 14 61" transit backstamp, circular "More To Pay" handstamp, red "San Francisco Cal Paid Jul 23 1863" arrival postmark, Very Fine and rare, a wonderful usage sent from Argentina, via Spain & London to San Francisco.

[San Francisco] incoming cover from Glasgow, Scotland. Inbound Gibb correspondence folded entire, yellow "Glasgow Paid Mar 31 1853" octagonal origin postmark and manuscript "8/4" rate, endorsed per West Indies Packet via Southampton and correctly prepaid at four times 2sh. 4d. rate via Royal Mail Steamer to Panama and thence by Pacific Mail Steamer to San Francisco, black "Paid" handstamp applied upon arrival at San Francisco, Very Fine, a very rare usage.
