Baker", flap missing & a tiny bit reduced at top (not reduced at right, imprint is shift to right), Very Fine and choice, a scarce Official imprint.

Confederacy, Confederate States Navy Department, Office of Orders and Details, Official Business (Dietz Type III), semi-official imprint envelope reduced at left, cutting through the #7 (originally a pair) tied with a black Richmond Va. cds, addressed to Captain V. M. Randolph, C.S. Navy, Montgomery, Ala.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

Captain Victor Moreau Randolph was born on July 24, 1797 in Culpeper County, Va. And served in the United States Navy from 1814-1861. He resigned from the United States navy on January 14th, 1861 to join the newly formed Confederate States of America. He served in the Confederate Navy from 1861-65, serving in many different posts. He died after the war on January 28, 1876.
