Packet Northern Light (Great Lakes), ornate and illustrated corner card on cover to Lancaster Ky, franked with 1857 3¢ Dull Red (26) tied by indistinct Illinois cds, flap tear just extending to front affecting corner card, also included is scarce stereo view card of the Northern Light with 2¢ First Issue Revenue on reverse, still Very Fine, this is the only known example of this attractive steamboat corner card.

Aug 6" cds, repaired flap & mended tear on front, lovely Very Fine appearance, a rare marking which ties the adhesive.
