M.A. Knox (Ohio River), bold and complete large oval stencilled handstamp on reverse of cover to Massachusetts, franked with 1857 3¢ Dull Red (defective & did not originate) "tied" by St. Louis, Mo. 1857 cds, cover opened on three sides for display, some hidden cover repairs on front (not mentioned on cert), Extremely Fine example of this packet marking, ex-"Chicago Collection", Illustrated in Klein (Supplement) & Milgram; with 2024 P.F. certificate.

Jul 29" double circle postmark, couple edge tears at top and part of flap torn away, otherwise Very Fine, illustrated in Milgram.

Steamboat Jenny Rodgers (Alabama River), elaborate printed corner card on 1864-65 3¢ entire to Harrisburgh, Va., postmarked "Mobile, Ala Jun 10" cds and cork cancel, at top is blue straightline Steamer Prairie State handstamp, some edge wear, F.-V.F. and rare, it is likely that the entire was carried by the Prairie State, Illustrated in Milgram.
