Homer (Mississippi River), red straight line handstamp on 1848 printed and illustrated Bill of Lading from Frenchport to New Orleans, interior of Bill of Lading with second strike of matching Homer handstamp, two small repaired spindle holes and vertical file fold, Very Fine and unusual, the only known example with the steamboat marking on the inside as well as the outside of a cover.

Hill (Mississippi River), illustrated and ornate red oval handstamp on cover to New Orleans, franked with 1851 3¢ Dull Red (11, tiny defect) tied by black "Steam" straightline with matching "New Orleans, La. Mar 19" cds alongside, also included is printed freight bill head, Very Fine and choice, a very rare and attractive example of the fancy marking, Illustrated in Milgram.

Aug. 19" double circle postmark alongside, stamp & cover repair at right, also included is 1866 printed illustrated freight bill in blue, Fine and rare, this is the only recorded example, unlisted in Milgram.
