Confederacy, 1861, 10¢ dark blue, Stunning Horiz. Strip of 3 (Pos. 27-29), tied on large piece by neat strikes of Chattanooga, Ten, Jul 25 1862 town cancels, the strip exhibits large margins all around including large portion of stamp at right, bright fresh color, Superb, ex-Hall and Boshwit; with 2007 P.F. certificate.

Confederacy, 1862, 10¢ rose, four huge margins, fresh rose shade, postmarked neat town cancel which is probably Abingdon, Va., a Superb gem; with 2007 P.F. certificate.

It is interesting to note that the highest graded example we could locate was a Superb 98, graded by the P.S.E. (Siegel Sale 1225, Lot 229). This example has larger margins and a much more attractive cancellation.
