Barbados, Selection, 1852-61, nice group of imperf 4 margin mint singles, pairs and blocks of 4 plus 3 perforated, mostly the first issue. Includes ½d green horizontal pair, 1d blue, margin block of 4, pair and single, deep blue and greyish slate singles, 4d single, unissued slate blue margin block of 4 plus 3 singles (shades). Perforated stamps include ½d green (exceptional example), 1d blue and 6d rough perf 14-16. Also piece of Single Star watermarked paper (2" x 3¾") and a delightful bright ultramarine Seated Britannia proof with uncleared value tablet. Some ex-Bayley. (SG2//33).Estimate $400 - 600.
