Aden, 1856-66 QV India Used in Aden Collection, of 21 stamps each bearing numeral 124 cancellation. Values include 8p, 2a, 4a, and 6a8p (scarce) values, most without watermark. Also includes an interesting 1a red QV forged imperf margin block of 4 with forged 124 cancel. Most F-VF. (SG over £1,100).

Aden, Covers, 1872-1949, of 20 covers highlighted by 3 India used in Aden covers, the first two each with QV 4a stamps, one a block of 4 canceled 124 with portion of backflap missing and one stamp damaged, the other on large piece with pair of the 4a with same cancel but in blue. Also QV 4a on long regular. cover to Singapore where KEVII 1¢ and 3¢ (3) affixed and forwarded to Yokohama (torn at side), QV ½a (3) to Bombay with postage due, 2½d on 4a6p, KEVII to Manila, others to Nebraska, Yemen, Ohio plus a few KGVI covers.

Aden, India Used in Aden QV Collection, of about 275 stamps nearly all bearing Aden cds of various types. Cancels include squared circles, split double ring, Aden Cantonment, B22, Aden Camp, Aden Steamer, etc. Values to the 12a and 1R grey (5) and bicolored (3). A few multiples and several Official stamps included, two with 124 cancels. Many exceptional strikes. Much duplication but a fertile field for study. Generally F-VF.

Aden, QV//QEII Era Covers, 24 covers with India wrappers (2), delightful advertising covers (2) one from the Aden Tobacco Company the other Britannia Anonymous Society, GB KEVII 1d on Egyptian perfectly centered with Aden cds and boxed PAQUEBOT, India QV 1a to Seychelles, India postal stationery card to Java, incoming Russian postal stationery envelope, 1936 group of 4 covers addressed locally bearing stamps of Poland, French India, Georgia and Azerbaidjan, KGVI cover to Fiume censored on arrival, 2 UPU FDCs and a few QEII covers to the US or England.

Africa, Airmail Postal History, small but exciting grouping of about 100 middle range priced airmail covers from Africa. Mostly all are commercial uses from before World War Two with a few flights, censors and unusual items. Most are British and French colonies with some others along for the ride. Generally very fine. All are sleeved and priced with approximately $3,300 retail value.

Åland Islands, Aunus, Karelia & North Ingermanland, Collection, arranged on pages in Lindner album; includes Aunus with both mint and used sets with additional used blocks and high value, Karelia with the 1922 Bear issue complete mint, imperf marginal proof set and later 1940's issues including many covers and on card items, North Ingermanland with completion including Maffi overprint issue, imperfs and a few trial colors, and a run of used Aland issues; nice quality issues throughout, worth proper review.

Anguilla, QEII Large Accumulation, of mint and used sets, singles, blocks, part sheets with various plate numbers, varieties, souvenir sheets, FDCs and a few commercial-appearing registered covers. A large group of the 1976 overprint issue, many values to the $5 and $10 including several with italic "O" on this and other scarcer denominations. Mostly 1970s issues, a couple earlier. Rather messy presentation needing sorting and organizing. Lots of value, lots of work! All appear F-VF.
