Confederacy, 1862, 5¢ blue, Archer & Daly printing, horizontal pair, tied by dateless blue "Richmond, Va." town cancel on cover to Burkesville, Va., forwarded to Rehoboth, Va. by three partial Burkesville cds's and manuscript "Due 10", additionally struck with three boxed "FREE" handstamps, cover with some water staining, F.-V.F., a rare and unusual usage.

This Richmond cds usual appears in black, but from May 16-29 1863 and June 1-4, 1863 is known in blue. It is considered quite scarce.
