Va. Vol., Wise Brigade", typical small flaws, usually associated with these delicate home made covers, Fine and handsome eye-appeal, scarce usage from a very small town.

Rowgee in Salisbury, N.C., Very Fine.

The addressee, William Rowgee was promoted to Navy officer in November 1864 and captured at Fort Fisher, N.C. in February of 1865.
