Confederacy, Apalachicola, Fla., Apr 10, 1861, clear cds tying U.S. 1857, 3¢ dull red (26) on cover to New York, N.Y., stamp with tiny corner crease top right, Very Fine, a very scarce Florida Confederate use of U.S. postage and thru-the-lines combination usage.

Confederacy, Augusta, Ga., Apr, 11 (1861), cds tying U. S. 1857, 3¢ dull red (26) on cover to New York City, reverse with large blue illustrated Planters' Hotel, Augusta, Ga. advertisement showing Hotel View and Street Scene; stamp with a few perf flaws, still Very Fine, a scarce advertising & U.S. Used in the Confederacy cover, the small double line Augusta, Ga. postmark was used starting late in 1860 which reliably dates this cover to 1861; with 2008 C.S.A. certificate.

Confederacy, Charleston, S.C. Mar. 3, 1861, cds tying 1857, 3¢ Dull Red tied on lemon cover to Greenville, S.C., cover with extremely attractive blue embossed cameo oval for "Geo. W. Williams & Co., Charleston, S.C., Wholesale Grocers" corner card, missing backflap, Very Fine, an immaculate cover and a scarce Confederate States Usage; signed Kimbrough.

Confederacy, Charleston, S.C., May 31, 1861, clear postmark cancelling on U.S. 1860, 3¢ Star Die entire (U27) to Cleveland Tenn., Very Fine and choice, this being the Last Day U.S. Stamps Permitted to Pay Postage in the Confederacy, ex-Kohn.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

This was an interesting use to Tennessee, which did not secede until June 8th 1861, hence this was from the Confederacy to U. S. Territory.
