Envelope, 1860, Nesbitt 2nd Issue, 3¢+1¢ red & blue, Compound Star Die, entire addressed to "Brig. Gel. G.S. Greene U.S.A., Genl. Slocum's 12th Army Corps, near Fairfax Station, Virginia", uprated with 1861, 3¢ rose (65) all tied by "New York, Jan 12, 1863" cds and circle of wedges duplex; small stamp and cover flaws, F.-V.F., a rare uprated usage of the 3¢+1¢ Star Die entire; with 2004 A.P.S. certificate.

Box Tea from, Argyle, Me., Dec 8/79" directive postmark, card with additional 1873, 3¢ green, block of and single (158) both with s.e. at right and manuscript canceled, with added franking paying the newly established one pound four class rate for the tea box; block with small edge flaws and cert stating 3¢ issue is the A.B.N.Co. printing which is in error, F.-V.F., a very unusual usage; with 2005 A.P.S. certificate.
