Thru 1865; An Advertising Cover Study of its Commerce, balance exhibition collection of 85 covers displayed and written up on pages; includes mostly albino and colored cameo corner cards mainly from commission merchants with 1850's 3¢ frankings, some handstamp corner cards including fancy leaf design, other ad designs including druggist allover (on reverse), printer, allover publisher (2), few illustrated cameos including Methodist Publishing House book shaped and another watch design cameo to Germany (missing one 10¢ stamp on reverse), couple mule design cameos, etc.; condition varied (See website for images), generally F.-V.F.

South Carolina Advertising Covers, 1850-1910's, group of well over 500 covers; includes several cameo covers with several illustrated including druggist cameo in shape of mortar & pestle and iron works cameo showing early steam engine, other cameo from a host of companies including American Hotel, Columbia, S.C. with 1857, 3¢ issue reused stamp, most later issue ad cover from Banknote period on with a fair bit of non-illustrated corner card covers, few multicolored ads, etc.; condition varies.

Virginia Advertising Covers, 1850-1910's, well over 300 covers; includes over 40 cameo ads including railroad related with illustrated Jarratt's Hotel cameo showing hotel view with rail cars in foreground, also a rare green "L. Lunsford & Son, Rectifiers of Whiskey & Dealers in all Kinds of Liquors, Petersburg, Pa." cameo corner card in shape of a whiskey barrel, other early illustrated ads including "Wells & Jones Livery & Sale Stable, Lynchburg, Va." showing horse in harness ware, many allover shaded ads, nice showing of later issue ads, etc., generally F.-V.F.
