Phonography Foreign Cover Balance, of 14 items mostly turn-of-the-century cards; includes G.B. ½d franked Pitman's Shorthand Weekly wrapper usage, and 1904 Issac Pitman postcard with shorthand message, other cards from Austria, France, Japan, Victoria, Bulgaria and Germany with shorthand, G.B. KEVII strip with shorthand ad in margin, etc., generally F.-V.F. or better.

Phonography (Shorthand) Cover Balance, of 30 covers and cards mostly 1880-1920's and some ephemeral items; few early items including 1850's Ben Pitman Phonography allover design cover franked with #26, 1853 stampless cover from Waltham, Ms. with letter written in phonetic shorthand, early Ben Pitman The Phonographic Magazine publication, nice selection of 1880's ad covers including Hall Phonographic College Co. with prospectus enclosure, A.M. Martin The Stenograph - A Shorthand Machine, etc., 1890;s with couple different Isaac Pitman's Shorthand, later Phonography and Stenography items, etc.; condition varied (See website for images), generally F.-V.F. or better.

Advertising Cover Balance, 1850-1910's, of approximately 400 covers; from early cameos and shaded ads of the 1870-80's mostly east coast states with some southern including Florida and Texas, many illustrated including section of sewing machine ads, "Blady's Steam Engine" steam engine illustrated shaded bicolor design, two similar S.A. Woods Machine Co. design showing planning machine, few with matching letterheads, etc.; condition a little varied with many nice items throughout, generally F.-V.F. or better (no photo).

Advertising Cover Group, 1850-1910's, of approximately 300 covers from Alabama, Tennessee and North Carolina; includes a nice showing of early cameo ads with two Wesleyan Female College, Murfreesborough, N.C. ads in blue and red, multicolored 1899 Pepsin Sticks ad (Charlotte, N.C.) showing Pepsin Stick Tube, Wilmington, N.C. allover shaded ad on 3¢ pink entire, later issue usage including multi-view hotel ad in green, etc.; condition varies, generally F.-V.F.

May, Carriage Maker" showing carriage, mix of later usage with some useful ads; condition varies, generally F.-V.F.

Louisiana Advertising Covers, 1850-1910's, group of over 150 covers; includes dozens of 1850's cameo corner card including shield types with a couple showing illustrated bale of cotton, section of 1850-60's commercial mail to France, N.Y. & Boston with company sender oval handstamps, other ads including allover shaded including some illustrated, few other early illustrated, other ads of note including "New Orleans and Ohio Telegraph" and "Office of the Southern Pacific Railroad Co., New Orleans", some interesting later usages including three 1870-90's "Leed & Co., Manufacturers of Steam Engines, Sugar Mills…, New Orleans" allover shaded ads in different colors, etc., generally F.-V.F.
