Pioneer Stage Company, Sacramento to Virginia, Virginia Office, Nov 4th, 1865, illustrated six-horse stagecoach letterhead and dateline on one page letter written by Hiram S. Rumfield to Mrs Rumfield in Tiffin, O., letter regarding trip from Salt Lake City with Mr. Tracy (either James or Theodore Tracy) and making the 400 mile journey in one day and twenty hours (Tracy's idea to make a fast run), letter signed "Hiram", Very Fine, with accompanying letter from Bob Chandler regarding this letter, ex-Pearce.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

Hiram S. Rumfield was the Assistant Treasurer of the Overland Mail Co.
