U.S. Possessions, Collection, mostly mint mounted in Scott album, all countries nicely represented, starting Canal Zone (not checked for varieties) with #2-3 (#3 handstamped "M & Co." - J. C. Morgenthau & Co., New York) no gum, 1924-25 issue complete, Cuba all mint with E1, Guam 1-2, 4-6, 8. E1 mint, and Guard Mail complete, nice Hawaii with #27 on relatively complete mint, O1-6 o.g., Philippines with a few from Spanish period, with #225 mint, 1932-1941 on complete mostly mint, Airs, later Special Delivery, J1, J4 mint, "OB"s complete mint, Puerto Rico 210-216, J3 mint, Ryukyu mint with Airs complete mint, mostly o.g. to part o.g., mostly fresh colors, scattered with no gum.

U.S. Possessions, Revenues, mix of the the various countries in two binders; includes some D.W.I. and a few Hawaii issues, Puerto Rico with some early Spanish issue and later wine and rectified spirits, strong in Philippines with early Spanish admin. issues including a few on document, telegraph and some interesting U.S. admin.; worth a look.

Danish West Indies, - Great Britain Used Abroad Postal History, 1866-73, nice group of 10 covers and 22 stamps/on piece items; covers with various Great Britain issues canceled by the barred "C51" oval cancellation, with usages to Halifax, N.S., Denmark, Demerara B.G., combination frankings to France, 1sh usages to London and interesting usage to Germany (missing a stamp), off cover items including 20 1sh QV issues arranged by plate no.'s; nice overall condition, worth proper review (See website for images).

Danish West Indies, Group, includes used items and three postal history usages; used stamps include #1, 18a on piece and 25b, 1903, 2¢ carmine, tied by "St. Thomas, 13/4, 1905" cds on picture post card to Philadelphia Pa., U.S.A. (realized $325 hammer in our sale 97), 1871 (Dec. 12) San Juan, Puerto Rico to New York N.Y. via St. Thomas, blue folded cover with red "Porto-Rico, De 12, 71" cds and black "C61" barred oval ties G.B. 4d vermilion ($150 hammer) and #18a bisect usage ($160 hammer) (See website for images).

Hawaii, Document & Ephemera Group, of 11 items; includes a number of stock certificates (with R3 single or pair) including Walls, Nichols Co., Mutual Telephone Co. and Pioneer Mill Co., also two unused Hamakua and South Kohala Telephone & Telegraph Co. and California-Hawaiian Development Co., couple indentures including one with scarce "Not Liable to Duty" issue (faulty), #R11 on Collector of Customs pass, and two early newspapers including Honolulu, August 1, 1870 edition of The Friend and New Bedford, August 30, 1853 edition of the Whaleman's Shipping List and Merchants' Transcript (See website for images).

Hawaii, Document & Ephemera Balance, several dozen items including nice 1877 Wilder & Co. "To Steamer "Likelike"" freight bill with steamship illustration, various notices to E. Bond, unused stock certificates including Waiakea Mill Co. and Hawaiian Bell Telephone Co., few street view photos including one of "First Street Car", with many additional letter enclosures, 1924 Rail Token and a set of Walls, Nichols Co. "Hawaiian Souvenir Playing Cards" (cover flaws).

Hawaii, Cancel and Postal History Balance, group of five stamps and four covers; stamps with cancels including Negative "HI" in Oval (lettHI-23(negative HI), 1RRRR) on #31, "K" Letter (lettK-12, 1RRRR) on #31, Negative "H" Letter (lettK-12, 1RRRR) on #34, "Honolulu, H.I., Jun 13, 1900, 11 PM" last day at the last hour postmark for Hawaiian stamps on #73, etc., covers with #31 Lahainaluna manuscript usage, "Coll. 8.50 A.M." purple straight line handstamp (MH 752 var.) on reverse of cover (only recorded with this collection time), "Advertised, Honolulu, H.I., Feb 20, 1900" red oval handstamp (ADV-oval, 1RRRR) on reverse of incoming cover, and two nice 1893 Provisional Govt. combination franking covers; a very nice group of better items.

Hawaii, Picture Post Card Accumulation, well over 500 cards housed in three binders; includes an array of later Island Curio & South Seas Co. cards with the vast array of multicolored views including beach and surf riding, hula dancers, etc., other cards including volcano including four cards burnt on one end (presumably by volcano) including one used posted at Volcano House, nice showing of real-photo cards including military related, fair, volcano including color tint and Volcano House, etc.; very little duplication, well worth proper evaluation.
Estimate    $750 - 1,000.

Hawaii, Early Picture Post Card Accumulation, collection/accumulation of approximately 280 cards in two binders; includes some early cards including "Aloha Nui", over three dozen real-photo cards including six different Hula Dancers, "Guide of Kilauea Volcano" standing in front of "Crater Trail" sign, "Halemaumau May 1924" Kilauea eruption view, sailor and ship views, etc., nice run of later Aloha Nui cards and Greetings From cards including a couple sent and signed by James Steiner, nice run of multicolored fish series cards, etc.; condition a little varied with many scarce cards.
Estimate    $400 - 600.
