Confederacy, (Virginia) Richmond, Va. Postal History Collection, an outstanding collection housed in nine Scott album all individually mounted and neatly written up covering virtually ever aspect of Confederate Philately in Richmond, Va., many better covers and usages abound in this fascinating collection, included are Stampless covers (both civilian & soldier usages), Independent States & United States CSA usages, Adversity covers, Wallpaper Covers, Patriotic covers, Missent usages, covers with Advertised markings, Blue Richmond Postmarks, one interesting cover addressed to the Quartermaster of the Irish Battalion, Overpaid Drop usages, Turned covers, Forwarded usages, etc., noted is one cover franked with 2¢ Green (#3), 5 or six covers franked with 10¢ rose (#5), three covers with #8 single and one with strip of 5, three covers franked with 10¢ TEN (#9), a 10¢ Frameline on a piece, three covers franked with 20¢ green (#13), plus a number of combination frankings and much more, mixed condition, however this is a very nice lot and deserves careful inspection.

Confederacy, Virginia Cover Stock, group over 55 covers identified in sleeves; includes 14 stampless usages from towns including Halifax C.H., Howardsville, Locust Bottom manuscript, Sweet Chalybeat, Richmond including usage to Scotland a month prior to secession, etc., regular issue usages including #1 x8 including couple pair usages and attorney corner card use, #2 x6 including turned and adversity usages, #4 x5 including couple pair usages and #4+6 combination, #5, #6-7 usages x9 including couple single usages including drop, and #11 & 12 mostly common usages; condition mixed, worth review.
