Jan. 6.76", Type A-1 canceller first day of use, Leavitt Machine, "Boston, Mass., Feb. 2 .76", Type A1-2 test strike without killer (one of two recorded), Leavitt Machine, "Philadelphia Pa. Dec 2 '81", type X1A scarce first day use (Rarity K) and others, scarcer Acme Supply Co. flag cancels, selection of good American Postal Machine Co. cancels including "New York, Madison Sq. Sta., N.Y., Dec 29, 1899", Type S38 "Madison Square Station" flag machine redundant station name type used only Dec. 28-30, 1899. (Langford $500), "Boston, Mass., Feb 14, 1898, Trip 16", Type B-38 street car R.P.O. flag cancel "Boston & Somerville R.P.O." (only four recorded, ex-Langford), "Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Aug 13, 1917", Type A38 machine cancel with "Military Branch" flag (Langford states two examples seen), "Sea Post No. 2, Mar 5, 1931", Type A14 flag machine (one of two known), also Imperial Mail Marking Machine Co., "Boston, Mass., Dec 30, 96", Involute flag Type P-53 (Large "C") Dial 3 (Langford $800) and 10¢ Columbian entire with scarce red "Registered, Aug 23, 1893, World's Fair Station" date stamp; with overall condition well above the norm, an excellent opportunity for the specialist (See website for images).

Picture Postcards, beautiful lot of 422 mostly used cards, nearly all from Idaho and Washington state 1908-1912; includes 1911 Burrell, Idaho Rodeo scenes, 1909 Yukon - Pacific Expo (and one from Seattle A.Y.P. Expo), interesting 1910 Idaho Swastika ("Good luck!) card, etc.; condition is much nicer than normal, huge retail!
