Hawaii, 1894, View of Honolulu, 2¢ brown, double impression, clear doubling of lines throughout the design, double-circle datestamp cancel, large thin spot and pulled perf at top, Fine appearance, an extremely rare example of this issue with a double impression.
Scott No. 75 var.    Estimate $250 - 350.

This used example may well be unique, according to Mr. David Golden, an unused block of four of the double impression variety was in the Atherton collection and apart from that multiple and this used single, we are not aware of another example, unlisted in Scott.

"Arawa", 12¢ blue, in combination with 1894, 10¢ yellow green + 25¢ deep blue (77+79) on registered cover to Metz, Germany, red "Honolulu, Hawaii, Nov 15, 1897" cds's, registry and return receipt handstamps with N.Y. registry exchange etiquette, appropriate transit and receiving backstamps, Very Fine.

Hawaii, 1894, S.S. "Arawa", 12¢ blue, tied by two strikes of blue "Lihue, Kauai, Aug 6, 98" cds's on cover to lawyer in Bern, Switzerland, transit and receiving backstamps; cover with partial backflap, Very Fine, a rare solo usage of the 1894 12¢ issue from Kauai.

Hawaii, 1899, Coat of Arms, 1¢ dark green, red A.B.N.Co. "Specimen" overprint, small serifed letters, with security punch holes, complete sheet of 100 with vertical gutter, o.g., never hinged, nicely centered throughout, missing some selvage mostly at top and left, still Very Fine, a remarkable full sheet, signed and plated A. Chang.
