Mexico, Queretaro Collection, with two unused 1r and 157 used including thirty-seven ½r (including two strips of 4), three 2r emeralds and two 4r, one of which is cancelled San Felipe, twenty-six different cancels are present, 22 of which are from sub-office, red Valle de Santiago (Schatzkes 1337 - 80 points) is the rarest, plus eight covers include from S. Miguel Allende, two S. Juan del Rio, Salamanca, and Salvatierra - a nice item with 1r pair tied by Schatzkes 1334 and a piece has a 4r bisect tied by Celaya, generally F.-V.F.

Mexico, Saltillo Collection, small lot of 1r single, two pairs & one piece with 1r + 2r, additionally the lot includes five 2r singles, one of the 1r pairs is cancelled by rare Abosolo (Schatzkes 1362A) straight line, 2 reales include two in the deep blue green shade and one in olive green (Plate I), F.-V.F.

Mexico, San Luis Potosi Collection, of 150 of which 73 have sub-office cancels (13 different), includes twenty-one ½r, six 2r emeralds, three 2r blue greens and four 4r, there are also ten covers, plus two pieces with quarter of 8r tied and dated well after the introduction of the 1861 Issue. The S.L. Potosi cancels include the rare Schatzkes 1440 on two 1r, generally F.-V.F., an impressive lot worth careful inspection.

Mexico, Tampico Collection, with four unused (two ½r & two 1r) and 82 used (24 from sub-offices) with eleven different cancels, includes twenty ½r, nine 2r emeralds and five 4r, plus two covers, the best of the six different sub-offices are San Fernando, Magiscatzin, Prezas, and there are some nice Soto La Marina, a 1r pair bears Diligencias oval of Queretaro, F.-V.F.
