1881, 1¢ gray blue, tied by "Plymouth, New York, Feb 13, 1883" on reverse of embossed bordered Valentine cover to Hemlock Lake, N.Y., with manuscript "(Due 2 cents)" on front and 1879, 1¢ Postage Due, vertical pair (J1) on reverse canceled by target handstamps, "Livonia Station, Feb 14" Valentine's Day octagon transit date stamp and next day receiving postmark, matching embossed Valentine with 4-line verse inside; top 1¢ due torn from cover opening, otherwise Very Fine.
