Lane to be assessor of taxes for the district of Koolauloa in Oahu, signed by minister of finance Charles de Varigny on May 26, 1865, with additional colorless embossed Royal Stamp seal; few small holes and clip rust stain at top, otherwise Very Fine.

Hawaii, Hawaiian Stamp Duty, 1, One Dollar, fairly clear embossed revenue die impression, in combination with "Hawaiian Consulate, Port Townsend, W.T. " circular Royal Crown embossed departmental seal on large 1885 "Hawaiian Shipping Articles" ship crew contract for work aboard the Hawaiian bark Thos. R. Foster from Honolulu to Port Townsend, W.T.; some fold splitting and edge nick, Very Fine, a very scarce embossed revenue on shipping document with the rare Port Townsend, W.T. Consulate seal, with consulate seal unlisted in the I.D.C.

Hawaii, Hawaiian Stamp Duty, X, Ten Dollars, excellent revenue embossed impression, in combination with two Hawaiian Stamp Duty, 1, One Dollar embossed revenue impressions (RN9) and canceled two strikes of red "Stamp Duty, Paid, May 31, 1877" triangle handstamp (RN13) on a Makawao land deed document (signed by James Makee), Very Fine and choice, a very scarce embossed revenue combination.
