Hawaii, 1866, King Kamehameha IV, 2¢ vermilion, "Specimen" overprint, medium serif letters, no gum, bold color, cert mentions thin which we find no evidence of, Fine and rare, with certificate listing this as a #31; with 2003 H.P.S. certificate.

This specimen type overprint is also known on the 1866 5¢ blue issue (32) and is far rarer on the 2¢ issue with only a few are known to exist.
