Hawaii, Forwarded By Thomas Spencer, Ship Chandler, Honolulu, Sandwich Islands, framed octagonal handstamp (AUXFWDR-SPENCER(octagon), 1RRRR) in printed bill of exchange form dated "Nov 23, 1855" for the ship Jueh Swift of New Bedford, Mass.; small edge nick in document at lower right, an Extremely Fine strike, with only four on cover strikes recorded.

Hawaii, King Kalakaua, unused 3¼" x 5¾" envelope with large embossed purple and gold Royal emblem imprint on flap, Very Fine, Medcalf #55, $350.

Lot 1082

Hawaii, 1886 General P.O. Honolulu Postage Stamp Requisition, form datelined "General P.O. Honolulu, July 10th 1886" to the Minister of Interior Walter M. Gibson (Deputy P.M.G.) requesting "10 pkgs or 2,500 sheets 2 cent Haw. Stamps valued @ $2,500"; flaws including staining and tape reinforcement, Fine, still a rare stamp requisition document, the stamp issue most likely requisitioned would have been the 2¢ rose issue (Scott 43).
Estimate    $200 - 300.

Hawaii, Consul General of Hawaii embossed seal, two strong impressions on 1891 Certificate to Invoice Value pre-printed form sign by H.H.M.'s Consul-General D.A. McKinley, attached to hand written invoice for building materials sent from San Francisco to Honolulu on board Oceanic S.S. Co.'s steamer Australia, Very Fine.

Hawaii, 1895 Melbourne, Victoria to Honolulu, Victoria 3d register entire uprated with 2½d definitive and canceled and tied by "R" handstamps with matching "Registered, Melbourne, Ap 11, 96" origin cds, red "Honolulu, Hawaii, May 2, 1895" receiving cds, Very Fine.
