1857, 1¢ blue, type Ia, showing discernible wide break in outer line at top, bold town cancel, rich color, couple short perfs at left and tiny perf crease at bottom, Fine appearance, still a very presentable used example of this of this rare type 1a stamp which was only produced from from the bottom row of plate 4.

States, Paid 10" exchange handstamp, oval corner card, right stamp with trivial corner soiling, still Very Fine; with 1989 P.F. certificate.
