Hardy's Office, Oakland, Paid, scroll printed frank (BAM-003) on 1860, 3¢ pink entire to San Francisco, with manuscript directives including "Bamber, Please delivery immediately and oblige. J.W. Hoag" at top, red "Bamber & Co.'s Express, S.F., Feb 5" double-circle datestamp (BAM-102), 1864 docketing on reverse, Extremely Fine, a lovely usage from Oakland to San Francisco, J.W. Hoag was a resident of Oakland and endorsed the company this cover was sent to.
