Mexico, Proofs & Freaks Group, 1920-30's, with almost 100 mostly mint stamps 1920's-1930's, 57 are rare proofs and sample stamps from the 1923 and 1934 issues, some have cancels from the Stamp Warehouse, 13 are imperfs, also included are freaks of the entrega inmediata 1934 issue, also includes a Proof, Back-Of-The-Book & Variety Better Group, with 1931 1c & 50c Pro University issue revenue proofs, #C185a pair imperf, #C168a pair imperf, #722P two color proofs imperf, #E1 block of 4 n.h., C177a imperf pair, #C83 proof, #C71a pair imperf, C45 blocks & pairs, horizontal pair imperforate C45a n.h., and #514P Block of 4 of the center vignette proof; nice fresh material throughout.

Mexico, Varieties Group, 1920-60's, with 134 mostly mint stamps 1920-60's with varieties, errors, color omitted, fluorescence and proofs, there is a highly specialized group of errors and perforation varieties of the 1966 UNESCO stamp.

Lot 1842    

Mexico, Centenario Re-Issue Postal History Collection, 1921-24, an extraordinary group of 44 covers + 14 postal cards; all the denominations from 1c-20c are included, the re-issue was very brief (1921-1924) and can only be detected by the cancels; a very rare group which took years to assemble, excellent for a one frame exhibit.
Estimate    $600 - 800.

Lot 1843 /o/   

Mexico, Mulitas Issue Officials Collection, 1895-1900, mounted on exhibit pages formed from a gold medal grand winner exhibit, includes 33 (all different) unused stamps and 1 used + 2 rare covers/wrappers, off-cover stamps are in choice condition comprising all the different watermarks and almost all of the basic 39 stamps listed in Scott ($3,294), one has a "Muestra" overprint with a MEPSI cert (O39S, $375), O48 also has a MEPSI cert ($225), 2 postal history items are, cover from the National Observatory in Tacubaya with 2c and a wrapper to France with a pair of 1c, experts in this issue think there are less than 50 items of postal history with official Mulitas stamps, most are large consular envelopes, 2 items in the collection are more scarce, official overprinted stamps in this period are only known on official correspondence going abroad.

Natal, Collection, 1857-95, mixed mint and used housed on Scott pages; with strong completion of issues for the period and some pleasant duplication, includes a used 1857 3d rose and other embossed issues present (likely reprints), QV issues mostly complete lacking some of the shilling values, with 1882-85 issue complete mint, also some revenues, telegraphs and a couple stationery cuts; condition is mixed, inspect.

Netherlands & Colonies, Collection, 1852-1940, mostly used on Scott album pages with some pleasant duplication; includes Netherlands with complete issues 1852-96 with the 1896 5g high value used x2, 1898-99 issue to the 5g, 1913 Centenary complete used and near complete later regular issues for the period, strong back-of-the-book issues lacking insurance and good dues issues, colonies with Curacao with complete 19th regular issues and good completion in later, back-of-the-book with first two dues issues complete, Dutch Indies with complete 19th century and 20th century strong completion in earlier issues, useful back-of-the-book with good dues, similar Surinam with complete 19th regular issues, etc.; condition mixed mostly confined to early issues, please inspect.
