France, Collection, 1849-1940, mint and used on Scott album pages with some pleasant duplication; includes nice selection of 1849-62 Ceres issues and strong completion in following Napoleon issues including 1969 5fr, 1871 10c surcharge present (no gum) and completion in later 19th century missing only the rarities, nice represented in 20th century issues mostly used and missing some of the key issues, includes 1937 PEXIP sheet mint, semi-postal mostly complete missing a few high values, airmails including mint #C14 and used #C15, dues with better early mint dues needing to be checked, Alsace & Lorraine appears complete, strong offices with China issues strong with better issues present and following local overprints similar with many complete sets with other mostly nearing completion, includes Canton 1901 issue complete, Kwangchowan 1906 issue complete to the 5fr and 1908 set complete mint, Yunnan Fou 1908 set complete mint, etc., Crete issues complete and Alexandria issues mostly complete, Morocco with good first issues and later completion, Turkish & Zanzibar issues with strong completion with better issues, etc.; condition mixed mostly confined to early issues, please inspect. France, War Propaganda Stamp Collection, 1938-42, British Intelligence forgeries written-up and displayed on pages; includes 25c Mercury sheet of 20 + single, 30c Mercury sheet of 16 + single + blocks of four used on two covers, 1F50 Iris sheet official 20 + single + block of 6 on 1948 cover, Petain issue with 30c sheet of 20 + single, 50c sheet of 20 + 2 singles, 70c red orange single, 1F sheet of 20 + single, 1F20 & scarce 1F50 rose single, 1F50 brown sheet of 20, and 2f sheet of 20 + 2 singles; a nice foundation for further expansion.
