Hawaii, Cover Balance, of approximately 40 covers; includes some nice inter island townmark usages including choice 1895 blue Naalehu cds (282.011), 1899 Waipahu (255.9a1) on cover to Ohio, Kawaihae origin cds (244.02, scarcity 2) on reverse of cover to Lahaina, 1900 fumigated cover from Honolulu to Kohala, nice selection of early inter island usages, 6¢ Banknote usages to U.S., couple nice multi-franking registered usages, etc., also a selection of more modern territorial/state & related usages including naval and airmail; condition varies, worth proper review.

Hawaii, Cover Balance, 1882-1900, of fifteen covers; includes 1882 Kawaihae (238.02) to Honolulu usage, double rate Hilo to S.F. with #39 pair, wrapper usage Honolulu to Boston with #38 x2, uprated #U5 + 39 to Maldon, Mass., later usages including 1900 fumigated to Molokai, various 1894-99 franking usages to Ohio (Westervelt correspondence), packetboat usage to N.Y. with S.F. oval handstamp canceling, etc.; condition a little varied, inspect.

Hawaii, 1893 Black Overprint Issue Better Balance, of approximately 50 items virtually all mint identified on cards and arranged on stockpages in album; +staring with 2¢ vermilion issues with multiple including block of 10 with no period variety, three additional no period varieties in pair with normal and five singles, seven split overprints with two bearing no date, 2¢ rose with no period blocks and split overprints, #68 & 70 splits, 18¢ with no period varieties including in multiples, double overprint type III, 50¢ & $1 no period varieties, etc.; condition varies with bright fresh material throughout, please inspect.

Hawaii, 1893 Red Overprint Issue Better Balance, of over 90 items virtually all mint identified on stockcards and arranged on pages in album; starting with 1¢ violet with varieties including no period x3 including one in pair, kiss and split overprints overprints, 1¢ blue with varieties including no period x6 including in block of 8 and two in split overprints, kiss and splits overprint including multiples, 1¢ green with a variety of split overprints, 2¢ brown no period, 2¢ dull violet with various splits including multiples, 5¢ indigo including pair with P.M. attest slip, block with no period and three singles of variety, 5¢ ultra with split overprint and FDC postmark as well as other mint splits, other high denomination issues mostly split varieties and includes a #64 no period x2, also included a study of the 1¢ violet London counterfeit overprints and 1¢ green overprint varieties; condition a little varied with many attractive items throughout, inspection highly recommended.

Hawaii, Postal Collection, an intriguing lot of Hawaii covers and cards, 83 items including two original photo postcards (one depicting surfers, the other authentic hula dancers) two interesting fronts with U.S. postage dues, interesting town cancels, large-size 1876 envelope with strip of three #32, red straight line "registered", "GPO HAWN ISLDS PAID ALL 1876" in red and large Honolulu cds, Also sixty-five mint postal stationery, 42 PC including UX2 (2), 3, 6, 7 (4), UV1 and 23 envelopes including U3 (2), U5, etc.; interesting and unusual group.

Schwalm publication Plating Hawaii's 1894-99 Two Cent Stamp; a nice holding for the specialist.

Hawaii, Document & Ephemera Group, of 11 items; includes a number of stock certificates (with R3 single or pair) including Walls, Nichols Co., Mutual Telephone Co. and Pioneer Mill Co., also two unused Hamakua and South Kohala Telephone & Telegraph Co. and California-Hawaiian Development Co., couple indentures including one with scarce "Not Liable to Duty" issue (faulty), #R11 on Collector of Customs pass, and two early newspapers including Honolulu, August 1, 1870 edition of The Friend and New Bedford, August 30, 1853 edition of the Whaleman's Shipping List and Merchants' Transcript.
