Hawaii, Collection, 1861-1900, mostly used housed in Palo album; includes various Kamehameha III issue with #9 (flaws) and various re-issue, reprint & specimen items, six numeral issues with certs including #22-26 and a used #21, #28a & following re-issue */o, completion in later issues, officials complete and a couple stationery items including postal card to Japan; condition varies mostly confined to earlier issues.

Hawaii, Collection, 1864-99, run of various issues with much of the better accompanied by certificates; starting with Kamehameha III issues mint #5-6, 8-8a, 9 and a mix of re-issues including specimen overprint items, used includes #6, 8, 9 x2, many scarce and rare Numerals including mint & used #12 (cat $15,000 each), #14 mint and used, #15 mint x2 and used, #16 mint and used x2, #19 mint, #20 with negative Lahaina Custom House cancel (repaired) and a nice showing of later, 1861-63 Kamehameha IV issues including couple on piece, various Banknote issues including 2¢ bisects on piece, few nice fancy cancels, 1893 overprints with many no period varieties including in multiples, few double overprints, 1894-99 Pictorials with many fly goose flaw single */o, Official including a bottom margin single set, revenues with nice mix of issues including #R9, selection of Kahului Rail Road issues and a bogus postal card; condition varies, inspect highly recommended.

Lot 1630 /o   

Hawaii, Collector's Stock & Balance, arranged and identified on stockpages in album; starting with a mix of Kamehameha III & IV re-issues and reprints including overprints, Banknotes issues with */o in quantities with some nice mint multiples throughout, early Banknotes mostly used with nice showing of various shades, #32 including with dramatic shifted perfs, used generally more common types cancels represented including the occasional block, $1 including opium cross cancel, 1893 overprints predominately mint with studies of the various minor varieties including shifted and split overprints, double faint or kiss overprints, broken "G" and broken "9", overprint offsets, missing overprint date (from the top of sheet), small period, shifted "1893", deformed "1", deformed and dropped "1", etc., etc., many imprint multiples also a nice section of later Pictorial issues including a #75 flying goose mint with part imprint margin, used set of Officials, few fake 1893 overprint issues and some forgeries; an impressive holding, condition varies with lots of variety throughout, inspection a must.
Estimate    $1,500 - 2,000.

Hawaii, Consignment Balance, mix of mostly used stamps and five covers; stamps including #53-53b block mint, used with good postmarks including the later Volcano House tying in piece, Hamakua Mill x3, #41 with small cross opium tax cancel, #43 strip with large "Cancelled" handstamp of the Kahului R.R. and a 5¢ Schmidt printing issue used, covers with inter island #31 usages including one from Hilo with "H" in circle handstamp canceling, Wells, Fargo & Co. Hawaiian frank entire, 1894 issue black proofs mostly in pairs, some forgeries, etc.

Hawaii, Banknote Issue Mint Multiple Balance, of approximately 75 blocks on stockpages; some nice large multiples of the early issues including side inscription blocks of 30 of #30 x2 & 37, block of 25 of #34 and block of 20 of #53, 1893 red overprint issues including two #54 blocks of 8 with P.M. seal attest slip, various #55 blocks most position multiples showing imprints, including full sheet (no gum), similar #57 issue, many #59 blocks and a #60 block of 20 with side imprints, black overprints mostly #66 with some no period varieties, one with attest slip, also a nice #70 bottom sheet margin bloc of 15 with captured imprint; condition a little varied with bright fresh material throughout.
Estimate    $750 - 1,000.

Hawaii, Cover Collection, 1873-99, of over 40 covers arranged in cover album; from early Banknote to later Pictorial usages including a nice array of 5¢ single and double rate usages to the U.S., nice 1891 usage to Austria from Liue franked with #44, 1893 overprint issues including 50¢ (72) single franking on oversized registered, 3-color registered franking from Waimae to Florida and other nice registry usages, later Pictorials including registry, mourning cover usages, inter-island including 1897 usage from Lihue (253.9a1, 1R), etc.; condition varies with many nice items throughout.
