Hawaii, Auxiliary Marks Collection, 1877-99, balance of 23 stamps and 14 covers written-up on exhibit pages; starting with transportation marks with a nice showing of railway items including large straight line "Cancelled" on regular issues and smaller types on a couple Kahului railway issues, Oahu Railway date stamp including two different versions of the Honolulu date stamp and another from Aiea, Interisland Steam Navigation Co. marks including the Steamer Bishop, Iwalani, Hall and Planter (most on stationary cut squares), couple manuscript interisland ship endorsed covers and foreign use covers including two "Paquebot" straight line handstamp items, scarce Wells, Fargo & Co. marks, partial Hackfeld forwarder on #31, some government & private send marks, also a last day use of Hawaiian stamps on cover (toned and stained) and a early territorial usage of old Honolulu cds; condition varies with many scarce items.
Estimate    $1,500 - 2,000.

Hawaii, Town Cancels on Stamps Group, of over 80 stamps on stockpage; nice range of various townmarks from the various islands with most strikes with full to complete town names, includes a few scarcer strikes including Punaluu, Oahu (255.9a1, 1R), Olaa manuscript with date (803, 1R), other items including the later Volcano House town mark, complete Makaweli, Kauai cds and target duplex on piece (255.9a1), etc.
Estimate    $600 - 800.

Hawaii, Picture Post Card Accumulation, well over 500 cards housed in three binders; includes an array of later Island Curio & South Seas Co. cards with the vast array of multicolored views including beach and surf riding, hula dancers, etc., other cards including volcano including four cards burnt on one end (presumably by volcano) including one used posted at Volcano House, nice showing of real-photo cards including military related, fair, volcano including color tint and Volcano House, etc.; very little duplication, well worth proper evaluation.
Estimate    $1,500 - 2,000.

Hawaii, Early Picture Post Card Accumulation, collection/accumulation of approximately 280 cards in two binders; includes some early cards including "Aloha Nui", over three dozen real-photo cards including six different Hula Dancers, "Guide of Kilauea Volcano" standing in front of "Crater Trail" sign, "Halemaumau May 1924" Kilauea eruption view, sailor and ship views, etc., nice run of later Aloha Nui cards and Greetings From cards including a couple sent and signed by James Steiner, nice run of multicolored fish series cards, etc.; condition a little varied with many scarce cards.
Estimate    $750 - 1,000.

Hawaii, Advertising & Illustrated Cover Collection, 1884-99, of 21 covers; ad corner cards includes Hawaiian Gazette box corner card on three wrappers (to Madeira Islands, Boston & Cambridge, Mass.), Hawaiian News Co. x2 including one with scarce purple Honolulu duplex, "On His Majesty's Service - Board of Health" imprints, Honolulu Chinese Chronicle, YMCA soldier's letter, fancy & illustrated designs including the Allen & Robinson Lumber Merchant fancy corner card, Hawaiian Electric Co. illustrated showing Female with Lightbulb, Manufacturers Shoe Co. fancy scroll corner card, etc., usage inter island and to the U.S.; condition varies.

G. Irwin & Co. fancy card, and Robert Catton x4, etc.; condition mixed, inspect.

Hawaii, Cover Balance, 1857-99, approximately 85 covers and a few fronts; includes 1861 stampless to U.S., #8 on cover (missing U.S. 12¢), #28 & #28a usages, a dozen #31 solo usages showing various cancels including the scarce dashed target (1R), an array of 2¢ Banknote usages mostly inter-island, 6¢ Banknote usages (33, 33a) to U.S. showing the various Honolulu townmarks, nice #40 usage to Germany, 5¢ usages including #32, few 1893 overprint issue usages including #55 on wrapper to France and #59 to U.S. including double rate, an array of 1894-99 Pictorial issue usages including 4-color franking, various corner cards including Bureau of Police (Honolulu) imprint on cover to Molokai, 5¢ usages to G.B., U.S. & Germany, packet boat, registered with #77, due covers, some incoming usages, 5¢ Official usages, etc.; condition various with many nice items throughout, several early items with H.P.S. cert.
