Arizona Postal History Group, 1866-1909, of 23 covers; postmarks include 1880's Camp Verde, 1866 Prescott, 1907 Flagstaff registered to Hong Kong, 1909 Roosevelt registered to Italy, 1895 Congress, 1888 Wilcox, 1887 Fort Grande, 1883 & 1888 Fort Grant, 1897 Crown King, 1897 Arivaca, etc.; condition varied, inspect.

California Postal History Accumulation, with several better items and many small town cancels, about 200 to 300 items total, early Johnson's Ranch, straight line Guerney (only recorded strike), Sugar Pine manuscript, Saw Lakeside WOF, Penryn, early Chico, several better RPPC's, Brooklyn, 1886 Oakdale, Oakdale cover with map, 1913 Palms registered, Blue Lakes special D ad cover, 1912 Topaz, El Dorado star receiver, several ex-Tatham, there are many early 1900's postcards with small town cancels, later covers with advertising corner cards, many WWII military cancels, many stations some with opening day cancels, any condition issues are minimal.

California Postal History Balance, group of 14 covers; includes 9 1850-60's stampless usages San Francisco to France with an array of transit and rate markings, 1854 Glasgow, Scotland to S.F. from brewery, Scott 32 on incoming ladies cover Duxbury, Mass. to Sacramento, #35 pair S.F. to Boston with rare straight line "Overland" handstamp (name in addressed cut out) and a Langton Express frank 10¢ Nesbitt entire with blue "Marysville, Paid by Stamps" cds and waffle grid canceling.

Lot 1507    

(California) Shasta County Postal History Collection, on money receipts, money order advices, registered receipts, insurance receipts, and the like. Some town duplications, but generally different types within each town, mostly small towns, such as Baird, Coram, Taylor, SI3, Stella SI5, Fielding and Hart SI6, some of which now sleep below the waters of Lake Shasta, but also some larger towns such as Redding, with a variety of different cancels. All in sound collectible condition, on pages, and in a binder.

Lot 1508    

California Townmark Collection, 1940-60's, about 375 #6 envelopes, all addressed to Owen Wade, former postmaster of Colton, Oregon, most bearing small town handstamps such as four-bars or duplexes, but a very few machine cancels, cancel dates range between the late 40's into the mid 60's, and many are PM-signed last day usages, mostly different but also some duplicates. Many are "recent" discontinued post offices, such as Copco, Corriganville, Death Valley Junction, Linnell, Loftus, Minersville, stations are also represented, such as Agua Caliente Springs, Aranbee, Big Basin, Briceland, Fernbridge, Gorman, Iowa Hill, Nipinnawassee, McKinleyville, Miracle Hot Springs, Olinda, Pulga, Sawyers Bar, there are no issues of condition.

Montana Forts & Agencies Postmarks, 1870-1910's, 23 items most during the territorial period; Forts including Fort Assinaboine (types 2 & 6), Fort Benton (types 1, 4-5 & 7), Fort Ellis (type 1), Fort Shaw (type 3 in blue and in black on receipt) & type 4 on receipt), Fort Maginnis (type 4), Fort Keogh (type 2), three statehood townmarks, etc., Agencies including Old Agency (types 2 & 3), Crow Agency (type 1), Popular Creek (Agency) (type 1), Winnecock, etc., generally F.-V.F. strikes.

Tr. 5 strike, etc., few other misc. items including Rail Business cover and early 1880 illustrated locomotive merchant check with "Terminus U.& N. R. Montana Statehood Cover Collection, of approximately 100 items, mostly on post & postal cards, most are early usages from 1890-1910's, includes 1904 Dorsey Doane postmark, 1911 Gossett, 1907 Hall Doane, red 1915 Kirby, bold 1892 Lauron cds and star duplex, 1894 Maryville, choice 1891 Meadow Creek, 1891 Placer T&P oval on cover, 1910 Rancher, 1906 Storrs on corner card cover, 1897 St. Peter on cover to France, etc., accompanied by D.
